Insel Air is a Dutch Caribbean carrier that serves as the national airline of Curaçao. It is headquartered in Maduro Plaza, Willemstad. Insel Air was founded in 1993 and has hubs at Hato International Airport (CUR) and Queen Beatrix International Airport (AUA). Insel Air’s focus cities include Kralendijk, Bonaire, Miami, Florida, Philipsburg and St. Maarten.
In December 2015 Insel Air started charter flights from Miami to five different destinations in Cuba. Insel Air does not have any membership with an airline alliance, but they do have a codeshare agreement with KLM and others. Their Frequent-flyer program is called Insel Air Miles and their airport lounge is Plesman Lounge.
