Sometimes it’s all about cheap flights. Sometimes it’s all about moodlighting. Sometimes, only sometimes, it’s all about both. Now is one of those times.
Virgin America is offering “sweet treats” and “tasty little fares” on routes across its system. This is great news for anybody who loves low airfare, cool perks, either coast, and Las Vegas. Sadly, if you need to fly anywhere in the middle of the country, you’re still out of luck. However, if you’re heading to the East, West, or Sin City, you can find great deals until November 20 for travel between November 15, 2008 and January 1, 2009. Visit Virgin America Flights for more details and a complete list of destinations.

Yes, another credit-card offer – with a twist.
Virgin America offering its frequent flier eleVAte members a new “signature” Visa card, and in return, you get a free flight – though it should be noted that the “free flight” is a one-way flight, not round-trip.
Any other catch? Doesn’t look like it. You must apply for the card by Nov. 30, and use the card – just once – by Jan. 31, 2009. And your travel must be completed by May 20, 2009.
Aha – what about black-out dates? There are none.
Annual card fees? There are none.
But check out the details for yourself, on Virgin America’s website.

Leave it up to Virgin America to add a twist on the typical airfare sale. Instead of just offering cheap flights for a specific amount of time, Virgin America is got their sale airfares “on the move.”
The carrier is offering great deals and their special brand of luxury and moodlighting on routes throughout their system. However, you’re not guaranteed to get the best available deals:
“Lowest available fares will fluctuate throughout each day, and sale fares will only be available at various time intervals during each day, for a total of at least 48 hours during the sale.” (from Virgin America)
Visit Virgin America Fare Sale to test your luck, and keep reading to take a look at sample airfares, so you know if you’re getting close to the best deal…
