Minutes ago United filed a giant airfare sale between over 8,000 city pairs in North America — yes that includes Canada (at the same time Air Canada and WestJet have also filed sales and no I don’t think they were coordinated).

Average savings are over $100rt and it includes many smaller cities that normally don’t get to partake in sales — must depart before mid June. Prices will hit reservation systems at midnight.

Those signed up for our FareCatcher alerts have already been notified of the new prices to their favorite destinations.

Minutes ago both Air Canada and West Jet filed airfare sales between over 5,000 city pairs.

At the same time United Airlines filed mega sale that includes Canada. For those that have been waiting for Canadian airfare to come down — you have your wish, but don’t delay.

The average price drop on Air Canada is over $200rt and WestJet over $120rt. Must depart before mid (Air Canada, United) to late June (WestJet).

We’ve seen a bit of activity from United Airlines today. The carrier has instituted a drop in airfare prices to Orlando and Tampa from a number of cities across the U.S. including many smaller cities. Most of the price drops range from $10 to $30 roundtrip.
