Now, United Airlines is getting in on the action with last-minute Thanksgiving deals of their own. Purchase your airline ticket by November 24, 2009. Deals are good for travel between November 20 and December 2, 2009.

United Airlines kicked off their “Winter Welcome” airfare sale, and for those of us who are just starting to deal with cold weather this week, the timing seems pretty perfect.
The sale features airfare as low as $49+ each-way to/from cities across the country. A 14-day advance purchase is required, and deals are good for Monday - Thursday and Saturday travel from December 2, 2009 to March 9, 2010. As is often the case, though, there are blackout dates around the holidays (”Travel is not permitted between December 18, 2009 and January 4, 2010.”).

United Airlines has kicked off a Europe airfare sale that features deals to Paris, London, Amsterdam, and destinations across the Continent from a range of U.S. cities. Airfare starts as low as $263+ each-way for Monday - Thursday travel through March 28, 2010. A 3-day advance purchase and a Saturday night minimum stay are required.

United Airlines has launched a promotion that allows you to save up for travel in 2010. If you fly with UA for the rest of the year, you can “earn an electronic certificate for up to 50% off a domestic flight in 2010.”
