
Southwest Airlines launched last minute Thanksgiving deals, but they’re not the only ones in the holiday spirit. Midwest Airlines has extended their Thanksgiving Airfare Sale until Nov. 25. Sale airfares are good for travel from Nov. 20 to Dec. 1.

The streak of airfare sales we saw last week continues into this week. Midwest Airlines is getting in on the action with their “Winter Wonderland” sale, which features deals to “every city on their map.” Deals on some routes are actually good for travel all the way through May 26, 2010.

The airfare sales just keep on coming. In a relatively short period of time, we’ve seen a Southwest Airlines airfare sale, a Halloween sale from Virgin America, and a fall/winter airfare sale from AirTran. Well, Midwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines are joining in on the fun.
Midwest’s sale lasts until Oct. 30, and is good for travel from Nov. 6 through Dec 16. Frontier’s latest airfare sale is also good for travel through Dec. 16, but it ends on Oct. 29. Midwest Airlines has a number of short-hops in their route system, but for now, the carrier is focusing their deals on some of their longer flights, including Milwaukee to Orlando and Milwaukee to Las Vegas. Their recent acquisition by Republic Airways hasn’t kept Midwest Airlines from kicking off another round of airfare deals. The latest are good for travel from Aug. 18 - Nov. 19.
