Open Skies has opened up new nonstop flights to Amsterdam from the US on Northwest Airlines and its codeshare partner KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. You can now fly direct to Amsterdam from Portland, Oregon and DFW, and Northwest and KLM still offer direct flights to Amsterdam from Boston, Detroit, Memphis, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Newark, and Seattle, as well.

In order to celebrate their new routes, Northwest Airlines is offering vacation packages that feature reduced rates and even free nights in Amsterdam.
