Icelandair Vacation Packages

Icelandair is doing its part to help travelers out in this struggling economy. Their latest vacation package (the “Stimulus Package”) includes roundtrip airfare to Reykjavik from New York, Boston, or Minneapolis/St. Paul. It also includes two nights at either FossHotel Lind or FossHotel Baron, and a free breakfast. To make the deal even sweeter, Icelandair will also provide deals on spas, restaurants, and more.

Cheap Flights to Iceland

In the past, Iceland wasn’t seen as an affordable destination for most travelers. However, with recent blows to the Icelandic economy, the country is taking a look at its travel and tourism markets:

 

“Iceland was once prohibitively expensive for many people, but now the tiny island nation is rebranding itself as a budget destination…Iceland’s economy was booming a few years ago, fueled by the availability of cheap credit.
