This week, Southwest Airlines launched last-minute Thanksgiving airfare deals and Midwest Airlines extended their Thanksgiving Airfare Sale. Now, United Airlines is getting in on the action with last-minute Thanksgiving deals of their own. Purchase your airline ticket by November 24, 2009. Deals are good for travel between November 20 and December 2, 2009.

United Airlines kicked off their “Winter Welcome” airfare sale, and for those of us who are just starting to deal with cold weather this week, the timing seems pretty perfect.
The sale features airfare as low as $49+ each-way to/from cities across the country. A 14-day advance purchase is required, and deals are good for Monday - Thursday and Saturday travel from December 2, 2009 to March 9, 2010. As is often the case, though, there are blackout dates around the holidays (”Travel is not permitted between December 18, 2009 and January 4, 2010.”).

Virgin America is celebrating its launch of service to Ft. Lauderdale with sales to all its destinations, but you must purchase tickets TODAY (Wednesday, Nov. 18) - the sale ends at midnight!
Virgin America is advertising LA to San Francisco flights for $39+ one way, which works out to about $99 roundtrip total. Cross-country flights are also cheap, as is New York to Las Vegas - all are advertised as “$99+ each way”.
Travel is good for now through Feb. 10 and there are some blackout dates around the holidays, plus these prices may not be available on every flight.
