There are only a few days left to save on Korean Air flights to Mumbai (once known as Bombay). The carrier’s “Early Bird” airfare sale offers flights to Mumbai for as low as $1,169+ R/T for travel between August 21st to September 30th, 2008, but you have to purchase your airline ticket by July 31st to take advantage of the deals.

These airfares to Mumbai are good for weekday travel from Los Angeles, Seattle, or San Francisco, and allow travelers a maximum stay of six months. Korean Air also offers a discount for children on this route (75% of adult fare if accompanied by an adult).

United has some great bargains if you’re in the mood for a mini-vacations — but there’s not much time — you have to purchase your tickets by July 18.

Just go to United’s site, click on your departure city, and see what’s cheap.

From Burbank, I saw $75 one-way fares to San Francisco, Monterey and Las Vegas; they also had a Burbank to Albuquerque fare for just $99.

Spirit Airlines is advertising a BSD sale (Big Spirit Deals) and they are showing flights for as low as $19+ each way (one of those fares is from Ft. Lauderdale to the Bahamas).

You have to book by midnight on May 19^th, and the sale covers a lot of locations at prices from $19+ to $139+ each way.

The joys of the one-day airfare sales continue. Today, Delta Airlines dropped airfares to and from cities all over the country. Over 1,000 city-pairs can save hundreds of dollars on airline tickets for travel on Valentine’s Day (tomorrow). You won’t find this airfare sale listed on Delta’s website, but the deals are out there.

Destinations include Oakland, Indianapolis, and Salt Lake City, as well as smaller markets in Wyoming, Burlington, Iowa, and much more.

Nothing like a last minute Presidents Day weekend getaway! And United and American have some good deals all over the country during the next several days.

But as usual, you must act fast; United requires you to purchase your airline tickets by Friday (February 15^th).

United’s lowest airfares are available for travel “outbound” on Feb. 14 (so hurry and buy), and “inbound” on the 17^th and the 19^th through the 21^st. Other dates are a bit pricier.
