United Airlines kicked off their “Winter Welcome” airfare sale, and for those of us who are just starting to deal with cold weather this week, the timing seems pretty perfect.
The sale features airfare as low as $49+ each-way to/from cities across the country. A 14-day advance purchase is required, and deals are good for Monday – Thursday and Saturday travel from December 2, 2009 to March 9, 2010. As is often the case, though, there are blackout dates around the holidays (“Travel is not permitted between December 18, 2009 and January 4, 2010.”).
