The airfare sales continue. United Airlines has kicked off a holiday airfare sale featuring deals to destinations across the U.S. and Canada. Sale fares are good for select travel dates between November 19, 2009 and January 4, 2010.
UA has broken the airfares into “good,” “better,” and “best,” so some days over the holidays are still cheaper to fly on than others. Deals also require a 14-day advance purchase and a 3-night, Friday night or Saturday night minimum stay.
Check out cheap flights on United Airlines from your hometown to see if these holiday airfare specials will work for you, and if UA doesn’t have the best deals for you, you’ll see which airlines do in the result pages.

united air sends out an email for holiday sale. i look up prices based on thier calendars “best date deal”. to fly coach from charlotted to phoenix on thier best date deal 11/25 and return 11/28 was $4,000 for my wife and I. what a great deal

A waste of time. So-called “deals” are few and far between. United and FareCompare are grossly overstating any sale prices, deals, and applications of their rules.

I think you guys should look at the dates offered for sale just becuase its a Holiday Sale does not mean it for the HOLIDAYS.
