As a Dallas resident, I feel it’s my duty to point out that there is less than a week to experience the Texas State Fair. Where else can you enjoy fried butter, chicken-fried bacon, and the excitement/madness of Texas-OU weekend? The Fair ends October 18, so there’s still enough time for the whole family to come on down and say “Howdy” to Big Tex.
