I just got back from my honeymoon in Jamaica, and my wife and I are already planning to return. It’s an island filled with beautiful beaches, amazing people, and the finest coffee I’ve ever tasted. We flew into Montego Bay, hopped on a shuttle bus, and headed out to a resort in Negril. Once I got over the whole “we’re driving on the left side of the road” thing, I quickly fell in love with the country.
The scenery on the drive was stunning, and everyone we met along the way welcomed us as though we had just returned home. The warm, calm Caribbean water was perfect for floating the day away, and even when it rained for short periods of time (“liquid sunshine” as they call it), there was always a dry spot where we could watch the storm while sipping on a Red Stripe, and there was always an amazing sunset to follow.
