Delta/Northwest Summer/Fall Airfare Sale

July 28, 2009 | Posted in: Cheap Airfare Sales

Recently, a lot of the airfare activity coming from Delta Air Lines has been of the hike nature. This week, however, they’re going the other way. Delta/Northwest have dropped airfare prices an average of $100 r/t between thousands of city-pairs. Most of the deals involve smaller cities, but you can find cheap flights between major markets, as well. Here’s a small sample of what’s out there for select flights in October from Delta, Northwest, and other carriers:

Miami to San Francisco – $175 r/t (taxes and fees incl.)
Fort Lauderdale to New York – $179 r/t (taxes and fees incl.)
Cedar Rapids to Dallas/Ft. Worth – $190 r/t (taxes and fees incl.)

Airfares are based on availability. Use our Deal Finder for the best deals from your hometown to cities big and small across the U.S.

JUST LETTING AIRLINES KNOW THAT NOT ALL YOUR PRICE DROPS FOR AIRFARE ARE NOT THE SAME. YOU ALWAYS HAVE THE SAME AIRPORTS ON ALL OF YOUR SPECIALS. DO YOU KNOW THAT PEOPLE TRY TO MAKE FLIGHTS ARRANGEMENTS OUT OF THEIR HOME AIRPORT AND THEY ARE NOT WHAT YOU HAVE ON SPECIAL.WHY NOT GIVE THE OTHER PEOPLE A CHANCE TO TRAVEL FROM OTHER AIRPORTS INSTEAD OF THE SAME ONES ALL THE TIME. TRY TO GET A FLIGHT INTO DETROIT METRO AIRPORT IN MICHGAN FOR A SPECIAL PRICE. IT DONT HAPPEN. YOU HAVE TO PAY THE BIG PRICE IF YOU WANT TO TRAVEL TO ANY AIRPORT IN MICHIGAN. WHAT ISNT OUR STATE GOOD ENOUGH TO TRAVEL TO. WE LIKE TO TRAVEL TO AND THE HIGH PRICE OF AIRFARE HOLDS US BACK AT TIMES BECAUSE WE CANT AFFORD IT. SORRY IF I HURT ANY FEELINGS HERE BUT IT NOT RIGHT THAT YOU HAVE THE SAME PLACES ALL THE TIME THAT YOU HAVE ALL THE AIRFARE SPECIALS GOING.
