Sorry you were unable to take advantage of this fare. Our CEO first reported the fare on Twitter, and we received a response from a very happy reader there who saw the deal and was able to book two airline tickets for her honeymoon at just above this price.
Airfares actually can and do change multiple times throughout the day, and when we say a fare “will not last,” WE MEAN IT!. Sometimes, a great fare can disappear within hours, and sometimes it happens even faster than that. Unfortunately, trying to snag a fare this good two days later isn’t often going to work, not in today’s incredibly fast-paced world of airfare pricing.

I had this route in Fare Compare’s “My Trips”, as well as several of their competitors’ websites. Rick (of FareCompare.com) was the ONLY one who sent me this notice Monday evening. I was able to get 2 tickets for my elderly parents (who are on a shoestring budget) for a trip to their homeland on their preferred dates. I was a tad disappointed to see it still available the next am (’cause I LOVE a great bargain
but by Tuesday evening when my sister decided to join them, the fare was all gone - you do have to hurry!
