2009 continues to be the year of the European airfare deal. Over the past several weeks, we’ve seen a number of airfare sales offered by multiple carriers to multiple European cities. While many of those airfare sales have come to an end, you can still find cheap flights to Europe for spring and even into summer. Continental Airlines, US Airways, and Delta Air Lines have all filed low airfares to Europe. A 14-day advance purchase is required and deals are based on availability, so don’t procrastinate. Here just a few samples of the European airfare deals that are available:
Search FareCompare.com or use our Destination Maps to find the lowest filed airfares to Europe from your hometown. |

Hi! Looking for a cheap flight for 2 pax to Frankfurt or Stuttgart, Germany, early Ocotober (between first and 8th), returning to Vancouver (or Bellingham) about 14 to 16 days later. Thanks

Hi Sarika,
The easiest way to find the best deals is to perform a search for your desired route. It will allow you to look at days throughout October, view the lowest filed airfares for select dates, and it will let you compare prices from a number of sites: http://www.farecompare.com/
I know you’re looking for two tickets, but when booking, it is best to book multiple tickets One-at-a-Time:
(from http://rickseaney.com/2008/02/27/tips-to-find-cheap-airfare/):
* Traveling with a friend? When asked “number of passengers” while shopping online, put down 1 and not 2. Computer systems seek out multiple-seats that are the same price; if there’s a seat for less, but only one, the 2-passenger shopper won’t get it.
