Depending on how flexible you can be, there are some excellent deals here. Northwest has fares as low as $49+ each way, for travel in the U.S. and Canada, for travel between Nov. 20 and Jan. 5. The best part is, there’s an easy-to-read calendar that shows you the blackout dates (surprisingly few!) and clearly marked “cheapest days to fly”. Sample fares:
