It’s amazing what a difference a day can make. US Airways is offering airfare for $205+ R/T from Fort Lauderdale to San Francisco for select travel dates in mid/late May. When all is said and done, you’ll pay about $245 out-the-door.

With this airfare, like so many airfares, it all hinges on the departure date. Our sample itinerary (image below) is for a trip departing on May 21st. This same route on this same airline with a departure date on May 20th will cost you $317+ R/T. If you were to leave a day later on May 22nd, your airline ticket would cost you $339+ R/T. You’d see similar price differences if you changed your return date on this particular route, as well.
