Return of the One-Day Cheap Airfare Sale

Filed under: Northwest, WestJet, Cheap Airfare Sales, Air Tran — mike @ 1:59 pm

Just last week, we highlighted the surprisingly high number of one-day airfare sales and Web airfare specials that were hitting the market. Well, like some villain in a horror film, the one-day airfare sales are back…and this time they mean business.

Today brings us a one-day airfare sale from WestJet and a 20-hour airfare sale from Northwest. Both offer some great deals from a range of departure cities, so act fast (really fast) and book a cheap flight. Air Tran is also kicking off a new system-wide airfare sale, but they’re giving you until tomorrow to book.

Keep reading for details on both of these one-day airfare sales…

Cheap Flights on WestJet

  • WestJet is offering 50% of airfare from departure cities throughout Canada. The airfare sale ends before the stroke of midnight MT tonight, but it’s good for travel between April 1st and May 31st.

Cheap Flights to Las Vegas on Northwest Airlines (Promotional Code: WV8025)

  • To celebrate “20 years of creating memories,” Northwest Airlines is giving you 20 hours to save up to $150 on vacation packages to Las Vegas. The clock started ticking on this one at 4:00 AM, so you have until midnight CST tonight to book, and make sure you use the promotional code. The airfare sale is good for travel between March 1st and May 31st.

Cheap Flights on AirTran

  • This is a system-wide airfare sale from AirTran, so you can find deals to and from cities all over the country. Airfares as low as $44+ one-way are available. Travel dates vary depending on your origin/destination, so be sure to check the details for your desired route. You only have until 11:59 ET on Feb. 21, so book as soon as possible.
