This screen shot was taken directly from Air Canada (it wasn’t doctored up) it was posted on December 21 and was probably a mistake airfare which lasted only a day or so.

I have seen the usefulness of FareCompare decline significantly over the past months. Supposed low fares rarely (if ever) there when you try to get them, an enormously valuable tool (the search deals by map feature) discarded outright, etc. Was this website sold to some other company within the past year (one only interested in making its own profits and not in finding the best deals for us)? I have seen the usefulness of FareCompare decline significantly over the past months. Supposed low fares rarely (if ever) there when you try to get them, an enormously valuable tool (the search deals by map feature) discarded outright, etc.

Was this website sold to some other company within the past year (one only interested in making its own profits and not in finding the best deals for us)? Sure seems like it…
